Виховно-Вишкільний Табір       06/28 – 07/11       Vyshkilnyj Camp

Vyshkilnyj Camp is the first step to leadership for teens in our organization. At camp, the youth reveal their hidden abilities and acquire skills that will allow them to become not only counselors and educators in their branches, but future leaders of СУМ!

Adventure and learning come together, where the campers immerse themselves in exciting outdoor challenges, hands-on workshops, and unforgettable social experiences. Each day is a new adventure filled with friends, fun, and discoveries.

Successful completion of this counselor-in-training camp allows our older youth members to apply to other programs, such as the Leadership Seminar in Washington, DC, and Vykhovnyky exchange program. Participants should be proficient in Ukrainian, since all training is conducted in the Ukrainian language. Graduates of Vyshkilnyj Camp often serve as junior counselors at our various СУМ summer camps, and then during the school year in their respective home branches.

Старший Табір       07/12- 07/18       Starshyj Camp

Although this is a relatively new camp for starshe yunatstvo, ages 13 to 16, it follows the tradition of what was unofficially named “Pre-Vyshkil” by campers themselves over the last 10 years. 

All activities in the camp are guided by fundamental objectives – personal development and teamwork. This includes survival in nature, development of practical skills, communication abilities, personal identity, and an in-depth understanding of Ukrainian traditions. The main goal of the camp is to prepare youth for the next stages of their СУМ experience, including Vyshkil. Make new friends, develop new skills, and create unforgettable memories in a friendly and energetic atmosphere!

Age requirements/prerequisites:

• At least 13 years old on the first day of camp (and up to age 16)
• One-week camp
• Camp cost: $700 for active СУМ members; $900 for others

Виховно-Відпочинковий Табір       07/19 – 08/01       Vidpochynkovyj Camp

At this recreational sleep-away camp, kids will experience a variety of exciting activities and projects which will instill an appreciation of Ukrainian culture through music, hands-on activities, and exposure to traditions. Children’s independence flourishes through exciting activities both outdoors and indoors.

Your children will sleep at the camp dormitories and be supervised around-the-clock by trained junior and senior level counselors. Around every corner, exciting adventures await them, along with countless interesting encounters and lifelong friendships surrounded by magnificent mountains. This is the perfect place for young adventurers to grow, learn, and create unforgettable memories!

Age requirements/prerequisites:

• At least 6 years old on the first day of camp (and up to age 12)
• Two-week camp, but there is an option to stay for only one week
• Camp cost: $1400 (or $700 per week) for active СУМ members; $1800 (or $900 per week) for others

Переходовий Табір       07/19 – 07/25       Perekhodovyj Camp

Perekhodovyj camp serves as a stepping stone between Sumenyata day camp and Vidpochynkovyj sleep-away camp. While parents remain on-site at Oselia for the week, children gradually transition from sleeping with their parents to sleeping away at camp, typically midway through the week. 

This is a good start for younger campers to learn independence from their parents. The children spend a lot of time outdoors, playing various games, singing songs, and learning about Ukrainian culture and traditions. Unforgettable memories are guaranteed!

Following an exciting week at Perehodovyj camp, families have the choice of extending the experience by allowing their child to continue onto Vidpochynkovyj camp for a second fun-filled week with their friends.

Вікові вимоги/умови участі:

• Completed Kindergarten or 1st Grade (of school attended daily) in 2026 AND at least 6 years old by the last day of camp (07/25)
• The transition to overnight stay at the camp is mandatory starting from Wednesday
• If a child attended the Perekhodovyj camp in 2025, they cannot be registered for the Perekhodovyj camp again in 2026
• Limited number of spots available
• Camp cost: $600 for the week

Табір Суменят       07/19 – 07/25  &  07/26 – 08/01       Sumenyata Camp

Is your child 4-5 years old? And do you have time for some rest in the second half of July? We offer the best option – Sumenyata camp!

Over the course of a week or two, your child will be able to make new friends, have a ton of fun, and most importantly, learn a lot about what it’s like to “Be a cool Sumenyatko”! Evening dances (zabava), bonfires, walks to the stream, water games, dancing, singing, field games – all this and much more awaits your children! Camping days will pass like one day! We promise, your children will be in good hands and have a lot of fun! We look forward to meeting you! 

Lastly! Children are in the camp under the care of educators/counselors from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Sumenyata Camp differs from other camps in that the child participates in the camp during the day (lunch for the participant is included), and spends the night privately with parents.

Age requirements/prerequisites:

• At least 4 years old on the first day of camp (and up to age 5)
• 2 one-week sessions; you can enroll your child in either one or both weeks
• Camp cost: $450 per week

Табір Гусенят       07/19 – 07/25  &  07/26 – 08/01       Husenyata Camp

Our day camp for 3-year-old children offers a fun and nurturing environment filled with drawing, puzzles, and exciting games that stimulate creativity and curiosity. Our little explorers will enjoy short nature walks and engaging activities that encourage discovery and social interaction. Your child will have fun and learn in a Ukrainian-speaking environment while making new friends. It’s the perfect place for young minds to learn, play, and grow!

Lunch is included for the camper and one parent. Children must be potty-trained.

Age requirements/prerequisites:

• At least 3 years old on the first day of camp and potty-trained (and up to age 4½)
• 2 one-week sessions; you can enroll your child in either one or both weeks
• Camp cost: $450 per week

Виховно-Спортовий Табір       08/02 – 08/15       Sportovyj Camp

Sports enthusiasts will love this summer camp. Join our dynamic sports camp for children/teens, where fun meets physical activity in a supportive and healthy environment. Fresh air, physical education, and plenty of outdoor activities around our oselia are what you can expect. Participants will develop skills in both team and individual sports, building confidence, leadership qualities, and team spirit. With coaching and a focus on personal growth, every athlete will become stronger, more motivated, and ready for new challenges.

Participants can choose the sports that interest them most—tennis, soccer, volleyball, swimming, and more. Let’s win together!
