Campers had the opportunity to watch a documentary film and participate in interactive discussions on the Holodomor Bus, which is funded by the Canadian Ukrainian Foundation, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, the Ukrainian Document and Research Centre, the Ukrainian Canadian Holodmor Centre of the University of Alberta and the Ontario Government.
Podruha Lida Narozniak, former District Attorney for Hamilton-Wentworth and long time member of UYA Hamilton spoke to the campers about duty of care, responsibility, and liability. Podruha Chrystia Holowatska, from UYA Etobicoke also continued her sessions on lesson and activity planning.
The evening was spent dancing the rhumba and salsa under the direction of Fedir Danylak, the choreographer of the famous Barvinok Dance Ensemble in Mississauga.
