Camp ”Illuminating Path” at Werchowyna – Day 2

Today the theme of the day was Володимир Великий. During their hutirka, the kids learned about the first Ukrainian truzyb and drew it out. They also enjoyed курінний купіль, and some arts and crafts. 

However, that did not last long. During sport the older kids played volleyball while the younger ones had a sandcastle building competition. The kids continued with some signing in preparation for the vatra on Saturday. In the evening the kids participated in банси (dances) and we ended the night with the song #Ніч вже йде”.
