One of the many projects intended to create awareness and at the same time celebrate the 75th anniversary of CYM’s founding in the diaspora is the world tour of the CYM commemorative flag.
The aim of this project is to underscore CYM’s ideals around its motto ‘God and Ukraine’.
The specially designed flag bearing the official logo of this year’s celebrations will begin its world tour in Germany on April 25th, exactly 75 years after the organization’s founding in the diaspora.
From there the commemorative flag will be travelling the following route:
- May 2021 – Belgium, France
- June 2021 – Spain, Portugal
- July 2021 – Great Britain
- August 2021 – Australia, Argentina
- September 2021 – USA
- October 2021 – Canada
- November 2021 – Estonia, Ukraine
The goal is to finish the world tour of the commemorative flag on Ukraine’s highest peak – Mount Hoverla in the Carpathians.
The world tour of the flag symbolizes the formation and development of CYM and its goals throughout the twelve countries in which it thrives today.
Every country will be showcasing the arrival of the commemorative flag by holding official ceremonies to the extent possible in the current circumstances due to the pandemic and validating its presence in the official passport accompanying the flag.
