2013 Summer Camps at Oselia in Ellenville

  • DISCOUNTED PRICING: After paying the full camp fee for one camp, each additional camp payment – regardless if it’s another camp – will be discounted 10% for each child within a family.
  • CAMP PAYMENTS: The due dates for full camp payments have changed. Please submit full camp payments as required for each individual camp.
  • REIMBURSEMENT: 100% of your payment can be returned per your request no later than four weeks from the beginning day of that specific camp, 50% no later that 2 weeks before the beginning of that specific camp, 25% no later that one week before the beginning of that camp. After that, no payment will be refunded.
  • PRAKTYCHNYJ CAMP: Additional fees may be required for this camp.
  • AGE REQUIREMENTS: The child must meet the age requirement, as indicated for each camp, by the last date of the individual camp.

Vyshkilnyj Camp
June 30 to July 13
vyshkilnyjThis is a counselor-in-training camp for our oldest youth and our future leaders. Participants should be proficient in Ukrainian, since all training is conducted in that language. Graduates of Vyshkil often stay on to work as junior counselors at other CYM camps.


Ages: Must have completed 9th grade.

Vidpochynkovyj – for Starshe and Molodshe Yunatstvo
July 14 to July 27
At this recreational sleep-away camp, kids will experience a variety of exciting activities and projects. There’s a surprise around every corner, and new friends to be made from all over. Your children will sleep at the new camp dormitories and are supervised around-the-clock.


Ages: Must have completed 1st grade.

Perekhodovyj Camp
July 21 to July 27
perekhodovyjPerekhodovyj is a transition between Sumenyata day camp and Vidpochynkovyj sleep-away camp. Parents still spend the week on-site at oselia, but kids transition to sleeping at the camp around the middle of the week.


Ages: Completed Kindergarten or 1st grade in 2013. Cannot be repeated.

Husenyata Camp
July 14 to July 20  and  July 21 to July 27
A day camp for two- to four-year-olds. Your little one will play and learn alongside other toddlers, in a Ukrainian language environment. This is a two-week camp, but feel free to come for just a single week if you prefer. If your child is delighted, stay for a second week! Lunch for the participant and one parent is included.


Ages: Children whose date of birth is between 1/1/2009 and 8/1/2011.

Sumenyata Camp
July 14 to July 20  and  July 21 to July 27
sumenyataThis camp is a fun experience for your preschooler! Meet new friends and participate in exciting adventures. This is a day camp – lots of activities during the day (lunch for the campers included), then spend the evening and night with mom or dad. This is a two-week camp, but feel free to enroll for only a week if you wish.


Ages: Children whose date of birth is between 1/1/2007 and 8/1/2009.

Praktychnyj (River) Camp
July 28 to August 3
Bring your own tent and live in the wild. Together, participants work to build the campsite where they’ll live, learn and have fun.


Ages: Completed 7th grade, or 13 years old upon arrival.

Sports Camp
July 28 to August 10
sportovyjSports enthusiasts will love this summer camp. Fresh air, exercise and plenty of outdoor activities all around our expansive resort is what you should expect. Children choose what sports they’ll participate in – tennis, soccer, volleyball, softball, track and field, swimming and more! 


Ages: Completed 4th grade, or 10 years old upon arrival.

members: $850 if paid in full by June 30th     after June 30th: $1,060

Mystetskyj Camp
August 11 to August 24
A two-week experience of Ukrainian arts. Children choose the subjects that interest them most – folk dancing, painting, embroidery, wood carving, pysanky, gerdany, Ukrainian song and much more!


Ages: Completed 2nd grade, or 8 years old upon arrival.
