On Sunday, July 3, the All-Canadian Counsellor-in-Training camp titled “Peremoha” commemorating the 25th anniversary of Ukrainian independence officially began at camp Veselka in Acton, Ontario.
A total of 38 participants gathered, including 13 Ukrainian Youth Association members from Alberta. Ten members of Komanda and counsellors led by Harry Nesmasznyj – komendant and Natalya Schturyn – head counsellor are entrusted with the exciting task of educating, guiding, training and cultivating this enthusiastic group of young people.
