On Friday the camp hiked down the gorge to the see the whirpool of the Niagara River at Niagara Glen Park. Then they all proceeded to Niagara Falls for our group photo. The afternoon was spent exploring the park and many attractions of Cliffton Hill.
The campers also visited St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic church in downtown Niagara Falls. They were met by Father Bohdan Choly and renewed their baptismal vows and prayed together for soldiers fighting the war in Ukraine. Upon return to camp, podruha Tanya Choly prepared the campers for Sviato Ivana Kupala.
