United Way Campaign

Fall is here! It’s a time when many workplaces hold employee charity campaigns for organizations such as the United Way. Did you know that through these campaigns, you can direct your donation to a charity of your choice?

We hope that you decide to pick us – the Ukrainian Youth Association of Canada (CYM)!

How do you do it?  When completing your donation form at work, you will need to provide the following information:

Donations through payroll add up quickly. $20 per week ($40 biweekly) means that the charity of your choice would receive $1,040. Due to tax savings, the cost to you is only about $660.  And if you are a first-time donor or haven’t claimed a charitable donation in the last five years, you may qualify for the new First-Time Donor’s Super Credit which means your cost after taxes is only $389.
