On Tuesday July 23rd, at camp “Unbreakable” dedicated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine at Veselka, yunatstvo participated in a terenova era – “war games”. From the moment the campers woke up, they were given orders from their occupiers to stop speaking, singing, and practicing any Ukrainian culture. This demonstrates what Ukrainian citizens in the occupied territories feel each day.

After breakfast, they were given orders to find a hidden flag and the abducted commandant on the camp grounds. After the campers successfully completed this task, they participated in a massive water balloon fight against their opponents. Our territory was reclaimed by hoisting the Ukrainian flag back onto the flagpole!

After our games, the regular program continued and in the evening, a commemorative ceremony to remember the victims of the brutal war taking place in Ukraine was held. We had a ceremonial walk to our monument where we honoured the lives lost, including our own defenders, members of CYM Ukraine. May they rest peacefully.
