The twelveth annual “Let’s fill their hearts with warmth” campaign 2025

It is hard to believe but this year marks the twelveth annual “Let’s fill their hearts with warmth” campaign, organized by CYMivci all around the world.

This year the campaign, despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, aims to collect gifts as well as funds for children in Ukraine from 0 – 14 years of age, whose fathers or mothers are defending Ukraine’s sovereignity on the front lines against the Russian invaders.

Since the inception of the “Let’s fill their hearts with warmth” campaign eleven years ago, CYM members and benefactors have collected and donated over 22,000 gifts to Ukraine for the staggering amount of $730,000 USD. 

We are calling once again on our members from all branches: Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Hamilton, St. Catharines as well as our large family of supporters to enthusiastically participate and collect gifts or funds to purchase gifts  – clothes, school supplies, books, toys and sweets.

Similar to last year, this year’s campaign and distribution of gifts will not take place on the eve of Saint Nicholas Day (4 December) but instead during the entire Christmas period (25 December, 2025 – February 15, 2026).

We once again would like to express our heartfelt thank you to members from all our branches: Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga and St. Catharines, the Canada Ukraine Foundation who enthusiastically participated in last year’s “Let’s fill their hearts with warmth” charitable project as well as to all donors who gave so generously. As a result, we are delighted to inform you that all together we collected a record $22,500 (US $16,000) which translated into more than 500 gifts! 

We would also like to express our sincerest gratitude to FORUM TV as well as radio program PISNYA UKRAINY for their media support!
