We are delighted to inform you about the Ukrainian World Congress’s “30 under 30” initiative dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Ukrainian Independence. CYM together with all major youth organizations around the world are official partners of this initiative.
The initiative main goal is to recognize global community leaders born after Ukraine declared Independence in 1991. The names of top 30 emerging leaders, who are shaping the present and future of Ukrainian communities around the world will be announced on August 19, 2021.
Nomination are open to Diaspora Ukrainian youth who were born after August 24, 1991 who have permanently resided outside Ukraine for at least two years and who are active in their local communities.
Nominees will be considered for their initiative, creativity, teamwork and leadership skills, volunteering in the Ukrainian community, as well as achievements in their country of residence.
Nominating committee members include Kateryna Yushchenko, First Lady of Ukraine (2005-2010), Borys Gudziak, Archbishop-Metropolitan at Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia, Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian World Congress and others…….
The application deadline is 5 July.
We encourage our Branches to put forward nominations and send them directly to the Ukrainian World Congress no later than 5 July at [email protected] including a copy of the nominees to the office of the National Executive at kу[email protected]
