Day Three – We live in your name, Ukraine!

With the change in the weather, we expected some rain, but thankfully, none appeared. The kids spent the day at a variety of activities – arts & crafts, singing, sports, and the like. At the end of our two-week camp, we will have a grand “Kyivan-Rus’”-themed banquet, where the kids will wear self-made costumes fit for princes and princesses. Two of Montreal’s teenaged members, Zoya & Jasmina Shwec, came to share their lesson with the kids about the lineage & family tree of the Kyivan Princes. It was very entertaining, and with their wonderfully-imagined costumes, gave the kids an excellent example of what they could create for the banquet!
