Initiated by the Ukrainian Youth Association, the project aims to collect financial funds to buy presents for children whose parents are standing on the front lines in Eastern Ukraine against the aggressor, Russia, for the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine – presents, for the young boys and girls who have been forced to leave their homes or become orphans as a result of this war. The current aggression of the Russian Federation unites us, Ukrainians, all over the world in this initiative.
The project “Warming Their Hearts”, launched by the World Executive of the Ukrainian Youth Association in 2014 and with the support of Ukrainians in the diaspora, is now running for its third year.
We all await the arrival of St. Nicholas, especially children. Those who are in most need are the children who have lost their parents in the war and those who have now become orphaned as a result of the war in Ukraine.
We ask you, the community, and CYM branches to financially support this initiative.
We remind ourselves that with our good hearts, we can warm the hearts of thousands!
