CYM Australia encourages CYMivtsi to take part in the global campaign #StandWithUkraine #StopPutinNOW. This campaign is being run by the Ukrainian World Congress and will coincide with the Day of Unity of Ukraine on 22nd January.
Steps for participation –
1. Take a personal photo with one of the included banners or participate in a photo flash mob using the same banners
2. Write or call the offices of the Prime Minister, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Minister for Defence, the Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs, and/or your local federal member. These individuals are being asked to act on the issues below:
- To support Ukraine and oppose Russian military build up
- To offer military support to Ukraine
- To send a message that if Russia invades, Australia will actively support Ukraine
- A call to impose stronger sanctions against Russian Federation until Putin’s forces are removed from the border
Let us show our support for Ukraine and the rights of Ukrainians to live freely and peacefully on their own land.
