Delegates of the XXIV National Assembly of CYM in Australia, which began its work on 16 September 2017 in Melbourne, elected a new CYM National Executive (KY) in Australia.
Andrew Duma, became the President of the CYM National Executive in Australia.
The newly elected KY consists of:
President – Andrew Duma;
Deputy Chairman and the Director of Druzhynnyky – Dr. Andrew Suchowersky;
General Secretary – Markian Stefanyshyn;
Director of Finance – Paul Herczaniwski;
Chair of the Educational Council – Tetiana Zachariak;
Director of Communications – Mark Hyd;
Director of Governance – Tamara Moravski.
Roman Zakharyak was elected Chair of the National Audit Committee, with its members being Anna Polatajko, Adam Jartym and reserve Dr. Stephen Duma.
The National Grievance Committee will be headed by Peter Duma, with its membership including Hryhorij Moravski, Nick Soloczynskyj, and the reserve Diahanna Senko.

On the second day of the national assembly, the delegates took part in the Divine Liturgy celebrated by the Eparch for Ukrainian Catholics in Australia New Zealand and Oceania, Bishop Peter Stasiuk. After liturgy, he met with the CYMivtsi and blessed them for their good work and wished the newly elected executive continued positive results in their next term of office.
The newly elected President, Andrew Duma, has indicated that National Executive will continue the good work of its predecessors and continue to stand in the forefront of the Ukrainian community in Australia to assist with representation of Ukraine in Australia, especially in today’s environment with continued conflict promoted by Russia, which today needs further support from the international community!
