As Ukraine continues to fight its independence we remind our Yunatstvo of this
important date.
A competition is for Oseredky to organise and enact a way to
commemorate this event.
It should be creative and something that will be memorable for Yunatstvo.
Vykhovnyky should prepare the program.
The commemoration should take the form of a historical outing to a local place/monument/building/old ruins that is related to nation building or fighting for independence.
The program can include the research involved, aims, talks about the commemoration, celebrations at the site, an interesting game. The outing needs to be documented with photographs, film or video & narration. Yunatstvo should also do a write up of the outing which needs to include a comparison & analysis of the commemorative project with Ukraine’s fight for independence.
The competition will run all year, an all material will have to be submitted to Svitova Vykhovna Rada by 31 December 2018.
The outcome of the competition will be announced on 22 January 2019. It may be written in the language of your country but Ukrainian is preferable.
