Sunshine and fire

A sunny, even hot day …..and sumeniata decided to “fly off” to Australia. After lunch all you could hear in the sumeniata camp was the splashing of water and shouts of joy.
The younger “molodshi” learnt about two major Ukrainian cities: Odesa and Donetsk, and after lunch went off on a bike ride in and around Tarasivka.
In the evening everyone enjoyed themselves at the “vatra” (bonfire), performing a variety of sketches and dances and singing songs around the campfire.
The week is slowly coming to a close. Tomorrow is Sunday….and everyone is looking forward to “popys” – a showcase of just some of the things we have learnt during the week.
