Story
When I turned 50 I felt that I needed a fresh challenge and wanted to do something more for my beloved Ukraine. Then I saw a programme about the London Marathon on television and thought to myself, this sounds like a crazy enough challenge for me, maybe I should try and apply. So I did, but sadly was unsuccessful in the ballot so decided to go for the Manchester one instead and Wahoo! – I got a place!

This is my 1st ever Marathon and I’m going to give it my best shot to cross that finishing line in Manchester on Sunday 2nd April 2017.

Please support this most worthy cause. Every penny will inspire and urge me on every mile of my mission, but more importantly it will help the orphaned children, the wounded, the injured and the displaced persons in the current conflict in Ukraine. We are very fortunate to live in a free world and not have the threat of war over our heads, but please remember those innocent people who are not as fortunate as us!
