Members of the Ukrainian Youth Association from around the world will be participating in the third annual charitable project titled “Let’s fill their hearts with warmth” aimed to deliver gifts to children throughout Ukraine on the eve of Saint Nicholas Day.
Last year’s campaign brought a Christmas gift that included clothes, office supplies and sweets to over 1,500 children whose fathers lost their lives defending Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity as well as disabled children whose fathers are currently serving their country in the East.
This year, youth from Canada, Australia, USA, Germany, Belgium and Great Britain, members of the Ukrainian Youth Association, once again will collect gifts as well as funds for their peers in Ukraine, whose fathers are participants of the cruel war brought upon by the Russian aggression taking place in the Eastern regions of Ukraine.
We are collecting the following new items for infants and youth:
- School supplies (markers, pencils, notebooks, glue, etc.)
- Winter clothing (coats, hats/gloves, warm underwear, etc.)
- Children’s soft-cover/paperback books
- Children’s games\puzzles
- Candy surprises
Enclosing a personal note or holiday card is strongly encouraged! All funds or donations will be collected by the local Ukrainian Youth Association Branch and sent to corresponding enters in Ukraine for distribution.
Please join us in our effort to bring a ray of hope to Ukraine’s children that were forced to flee their native Donetsk or Luhansk regions.
