Віртуальний Крайовий З’їзд СУМ/Virtual National AGM CYM

On 10 April, 2021, CYM in Great Britain held its first virtual National Congress. The 42nd  National Congress CYM was attended by 32 delegates and members of CYM’s governing bodies. Representatives from twelve CYM branches in GB took part in the event, namely: Ashton, Bradford, Coventry, Derby Leicester, London, Nottingham, Manchester, Rochdale, Stockport, Waltham Cross and Wolverhampton. 

The congress was opened by the chair of CYM-GB, Zenon Finiw, and began with a prayer and a moment’s silence to honour the memory of CYMivtsi who have passed away over the previous term.

The presiding committee consisted of two members: the chairman – Dr. Marian Kosmirak and Anna Monyard as secretary. 

The reports of the committee and governing bodies were sent to the delegates prior to the meeting. Additional comments on these reports and the report of the Auditing committee were followed by a discussion and questions from delegates. Thereafter delegates voted in favour of giving absolution to the outgoing CYM Governing Bodies. 

Congress then elected a new chairman and members of the CYM-GB National Committee. Zenon Finiw was elected unanimously as chair. Members of the newly elected committee is as follows:

Congress also voted for the reports of the Mandate, Budget, Education and Resolution Commissions and elected delegates to attend the next World CYM Congress. The work of the commissions will guide the newly elected committee over the coming term.

Oseredok Wolverhampton – 30th June 1941, were awarded the Perehodoviy Prapor. This reward was in recognition for their hard work in maintaining CYM, and its ideals, in their hromada, as well as their constant commitment to national activities.

Their participation in the national rally is always entertaining and wherever or whenever they can, they are happy to help the national committee in any way possible. They are more than deserving of this honour.

Dr Marian Kosmirak concluded the virtual congress with the CYM greeting “Honour of Ukraine – Ready to Defend”.

10 квітня 2021 року відбувся перший віртуальний Крайовий З’їзд СУМ у Великій Британії. У 42-му Крайовому З’їзді взяли участь 32 делегати та члени керівних органів СУМ у Великій Британії від дванадцять Осередків СУМ, а саме: Аштон, Брадфорд, Волвергамптон, Волтгам-Крос. Дарбі, Ковентрі, Лестер, Лондон, Манчестер, Ноттінґгам, Рочдейл та Стокпорт.

З’їзд розпочався молитвою і вшануванням одно хвилиною мовчанкою пам’ять сумівців, котрі впродовж останньої каденції, відійшли у вічність.

Президія З’їзду складалася лише з двоє осіб: предсідник – д. Маріян Космірак і под. Ганя Монярд – секретар.

Звіти Крайової Управи та керівних органів були вислані до делегатів перед З’їздом. В часі З’їзду було доповнення до звітів та звіт Контрольної Комісії, а тоді дискусія на звітами та питання від делегатів. Відтак делегати, на рекомендації Контрольної Комісії, уділили абсолюторію уступаючим керівним органам СУМ.

З’їзд обрав нові керівні органи СУМ у Великій Британії. Друг Зенон Фінів одноголосно був обраний головою КУ СУМ, а до складу нової Крайової Управи увійшли слідуючі подруги і друзі:

З’їзд також прийняв звіти Мандатної, Бюджетової, Виховної та Резолюційної Комісіях та обрав делегатів на наступний Світовий Конгрес СУМ.  Постанови комісії будуть унапрямлювати працю новообраній управи в наступній каденції.

Осередок Волвергамптон ім. 30 червня 1941 року, був нагороджений Перегодовим Прапором КУ. Ця нагорода є визнання за його наполегливу працю у підтримці СУМ та сумівській ідеали у громаді та постійну відданість крайовій діяльності.

Участь Осередку Волвергамптон у здвигах завжди розважає і вони завжди раді допомогти Крайовій Управі в будь-якому разі. Вони більш ніж гідні цієї честі.
