The following dates of commemoration were formally selected at a Plenary Session of CYM’s World Executive on December 12, 2004 in Toronto, Canada, for the year 2005. 

• 80^th Anniversary of CYM in Ukraine
• 75^th Anniversary of the Kharkiv Trials
• 140^th Anniversary of the birth of Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytskyi
• 55^th Anniversary of the death of UPA Commander Roman Shukhevych
• 15^th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Declaration of Sovereignty
• 90^th Anniversary of the Sichovi Striltsi Battles at Makivka

 

Additional commemorative dates which the Svitova Uprava recommends vykhovnyky include in their educational programs:

• 260^th Anniversary of the birth of composer Maksym Berezovskyi
• 160^th Anniversary of playwright Karpenko-Karyi
• 990^th Anniversary of St. Volodymyr the Great
