The following were formally approved at the Plenum of CYM’s World Executive (Svitova Uprava) from 24 to 26 November 2000 in Toronto, Canada, for the year 2001.

Also selected were Anniversaries that will be commemorated worldwide by CYM in the year 2001:

 

  • 10th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence
  • 5th Anniversary of Ratification of Ukraine’s Constitution
  • 15th Anniversary of the Chornobyl Tragedy
  • 60th Anniversary of the re-establishment the Ukrainian State by the Act of 30 June 1941
  • 10th Anniversary of the rebirth of CYM in Ukraine

 

Additional commemorative dates which the Svitova Uprava recommends vykhovnyky include in their educational programs:

  • 125th Anniversary of the birth of Serhiy Yefremov
  • 80th Anniversary of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church
