At its October 1999 meeting in Toronto, Canada, the World Executive selected the following Motto for CYM worldwide for the year 2000:

 With Christ – into the New Millennium! 

Also selected were Anniversaries that will be commemorated worldwide by CYM in the year 2000:

• 2000 years since the Nativity of Jesus Christ
• 75^th Anniversary of the formation of CYM in Ukraine
• 50^th Anniversary of the death of General Roman Shukhevych – Taras Chuprynka
• 50^th Anniversary of CYM in Australia
