Riy Rusalky meets every Saturday after Ukrainian school. After apel, we have fun activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and dance! We had a very busy September, where we did many things relating to Ukraine and CYM.

We were taught about UPA, sang songs, and talked about our Ukrainian identity. We spoke about the CYM slogan “God and Ukraine” and held a ‘Chopped Challenge’ where we had different materials to represent God and Ukraine.

On September 30th, we saw Olga Rondiak’s “Behind the Lines,” an exhibition at the Delaware Museum of Contemporary Arts. We wanted to represent ourselves as Ukrainians, as Olya did. Here are some of our paintings.
