Volodymyr Szlachetko represented the UYA in Great Britain. He passed on greetings from the chairman and National Executive. Having commented on the work of the outgoing committee, druh Szlachetko informed the meeting on the future national UYA events for 2018 and went on to wish the newly elected UYA committee in Bradford and their members, good luck in its future activities within the local community and across the country.

During the AGM the meeting awarded as part of the branch’s 70 years celebrations a congratulatory certificate to the oldest member of the oseredok, Mykola Panas, in honour of his continued membership and activeness in the Bradford branch of the organisation. Best wishes were also passed on to druh Panas as it was reported that he is currently in hospital. Later that afternoon the certificate was taken to the hospital and left with druh Panas.

Sadly, it has since been learnt that druh Mykola Panas passed away on Monday 2 April 2018. We pass on our deepest condolences to his family on their loss and thank him for all that he did for CYM in Bradford.
