Day of Defenders of Ukraine – 2026

During our hutirka, we talked about the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, learned more about those who defend our homeland, and why their service is so important.
✉️ After the hutirka, the children wrote letters and cards by hand to Ukrainian defenders as part of the “Warming Hearts with Warmth” initiative. In their letters, the children shared words of gratitude, support, and warmth, and wished our soldiers strength. 💙💛
☀️ And after the important work, we took advantage of the lovely sunny weather and had fun outdoors, playing together!
💙💛 We thank our defenders for their courage, strength, and dedication to Ukraine!
