10 August 2014, on the second Sunday during the Summer camp organised by the Association of Ukrainian Youth in Great Britain (SUM) on their premises “Tarasivka” in Western on Trent (Derbyshire), all participants of the camp, together with numerous guests, gathered after the Holy Liturgy celebrated by the chaplain of SUM in Great Britain Fr Ewhen Nebesniak, parish priest of Bolton, before the “Heroes’ Monument” situated opposite the Hall where Mass was celebrated because of the rain, in order to commemorate with a Requiem Service-Panakhyda those of the “Heavenly Hundred” (pro-Euromaidan activists killed during Euromaidan) and those taking parting in the Anti Terrorist Operation against the pro-Russian separatist movement in the eastern regions of UKraine, who sacrificed their lives in order to defend the sovereignty and territorial  integrity of Ukraine. Memorial wreaths were laid  at the foot of a towering birch crucifix.
