Backpack Drive for Ukrainian Children

On Sunday, October 30th, CYM Goshen, along with the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Church in Kerhonkson,NY, help filled 41 backpacks for children of soldiers in Ukraine.  The drive, named “With Warm Hearts”, gives warm clothes, school supplies and other needed things to children who’s parents are fighting or have perished in the fight against Russia.

This is our third year participating in this drive.  We have doubled the amount of backpacks sent.  There was also much help given from parishioners and non-Ukrainians this year.  We are thankful to all who helped.  We hope to continue this drive until the fight is over.
