The Ukrainian Youth Association in Bradford held its annual general meeting on Sunday 12th March at the Ukrainian Community Centre.
The community discussed the activities over the past 12 months, which included lessons for children, performances from the choir Fiyalka and the dance troupe Krylati.
The meeting also covered upcoming plans for the community in Bradford and saw the election of a new council and a new leader, with Andrej Demtschuk stepping down and Petro Chymera taking over the position.
The head of the UYA in Great Britain, Zenon Finiw, was present at the meeting and wished UYA in Bradford good luck in its future activities within the local community and across the country.
