Derby 3 Nottingham 6

Nottingham started off strong with a 0-2 lead, but then Derby got their first win to bring the scores to 1-2.
Derby missed the opportunity to bring the match level at 2-2, but Rich had wasted this opportunity by potting the white ball on the black, even though he had two shots to finish the game.

The singles finished at 2-4 and so it was always going to be a mountain to climb for Derby and this proved to be the case in spite of their first excellent doubles match which took the scores to 3-4.

In the end, Nottingham finished comfortably.

It was great to see to “7 balled ” from each team.
