Тoday we hiked in Ukraine’s beautiful Carpathian mountains and visited the city of Kalush.
Sofia Holowatsky and Mikaela Yarmol-Matusiak from CYM Etobicoke and Laryssa Luszczki from CYM Montreal took the campers on a tour to the Carpathian mountains and focussed their hutirka on the importance of respecting and preserving nature and what we as CYMivci can do to preserve our environment.
During arts and crafts, the campers painted vases and other containers, and finished the day off by practicing their camp song ”СУМivska mandrivka”.
