National Plenum in Great Britain

The National plenum of CYM in Great Britain took place on Saturday 20th April 2013 in Tarasivka. The meeting began by acknowledging the 65th anniversary of CYM in Great Britain led by the current National President Zenon Finiw supported by former Presidents Vlodko Szlachetko, Yaroslav Semehen, Roman Panas and Bohdan Prychidnyj. The meeting was chaired by Zenon Finiw and the annual report from Krajova Uprava for 2012 was presented to delegates. This was followed by two workshop sessions on the themes of ‘Extended Use of the Ukrainian Language in CYM’ and ‘Role of Druzhynyky’. Representatives from each oseredok also presented a report to all delegates on the the work of their oseredok throughout the year. Oseredok Derby was acknowledged as the most exemplary oseredok of the year and recieved the National CYM flag for their commitment.
