December 20, 2008 - Yalynka The UAYA Philadelphia branch held it's annual Christmas Tree Ceremony, or "Yalynka." Along with a "Vertep," Ukrainian Christmas carols were sung, traditions were practiced and delicious snacks were enjoyed!
December 14, 2008 - Annual Christmas Bazaar & Visit From St. Nicholas The UAYA Philadelphia branch held it's annual Christmas Bazaar at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Melrose Park, PA. The afternoon was full of delicious Ukrainian foods, Christmas shopping and even a visit from St. Nicholas himself, who gave all the children presents!
November 22, 2008 - Special Apel in Honor of St. Michael the Archangel Our branch held a special apel in honor of the UAYA's patron saint, St. Michael the Archangel.
November 15-16, 2008 - Krayovyj Zyizd Members from our branch's Uprava and Bulava attended the XXV Krayovyj Zyizd, held in Detroit, MI. Some of our members also received promotions in rank!
November 2, 2008 - Survival Day The UAYA Philadelphia branch enjoyed a beautiful autumnal day at Lorimer Park during it's annual Survival Day (Den' Vytrovalosty). Activities included a nature hike, a competitive game of football and a good old Ukrainian song session (Spiv).

January 10, 2009 - Uprava Meeting (11:00am); Normal UAYA Activities (1:45pm); Bulava Meeting (3:30pm).
January 17, 2009 - Normal UAYA Activities (1:45pm); Annual Ukrainian New Year's Gala, "Malanka" (9:00pm).
January 24, 2009 - Bake Sale (9:00am-3:00pm); Special Apel in honor of January 22 (1:45pm).
January 31, 2009 - Special Apel in honor of Kruty (1:45pm).
